Description
Is an ear-cleansing agent with drying and antiseptic properties, intended for use in dogs and cats. It removes necrotic tissue and debris from ear lesions, dries the ear canal, thereby providing an optimal environment for tissue regeneration. Epi-Otic ear cleanser is a very well-tolerated micellar solution designed for the routine cleansing of ears in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens or prior to the application of ear preparations. It removes cellular debris and excessive wax and neutralizes unpleasant smells. To improve ear canal vitality, Epi-Otic contains S-I-S (Skin Innovative Science technology): a combination of Glycotechnology (micro-organisms anti-adhesive effects) and (Defensin technology) stimulation of natural skin microbial defence.
Epi-Otic is indicated for use in the following conditions:
- Routine cleansing of the external ear and ear canal, particularly for cleansing of moist, waxy or odiferous ears, or the removal of necrotic tissue and debris from ear lesions.
- To facilitate examination of the ear canal.
- Prior to application of other medication or therapy. – In the management of otitis media.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes.
Storage instructions: Store below 25 °C and protect from sunlight and heat.

Directions for Use
Use only as directed.
Shake well before use. Turn the white nozzle to open the bottle and then apply to the ear canal. Squeeze the bottle gently. Should be liberally applied. Gently massage the base of the ear and then wipe the interior of the ear flap and accessible parts of the ear with cotton wool that has been soaked with Epi-Otic.
Routine Cleaning : May be used twice or three times weekly.
Pre-Treatment : May be used before each application of antibiotics or any other therapy.
In every case, follow the instructions provided by the veterinarian.

Disodium EDTA 0,5 % m/m, Salicylic acid 0,2 % m/m, Chloroxylenol 0.09 % m/m, Diethylexyl sodium sulfosuccinate 0.5 % m/m, Glycotechnology (Rhamnose, Galactose, Mannose) 0.15 % m/m, Defensin technology (Peumus boldus leaf extract, Spirae ulmaria extract) 0.2 % m/m.
