Acana benefits dogs of every variety. Just like you, your dog is unique with feeding requirements that vary with environment, age, and activity. This feeding recommendation provides a starting point, to be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight and peak conditioning. We suggest monitoring your dog’s weight and adjusting rations as needed. We recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available. Serve dry or lightly moistened.
PUPPIES: at 1,5 – 3 months old feed twice the adult amount; at 3 – 6 months feed 1,5 times the adult amount; at 6 – 11 months feed 1,25 times the adult amount.
GESTATION: increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount. LACTATION: feed ‘free choice’. When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in Acana. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in Acana, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% Acana.

Fresh yorkshire pork (16%), pork meat meal (16%), whole green peas, whole red lentils, fresh pork liver (6%), pork fat (6%), fresh pork kidney (4%), fresh whole butternut squash (4%), whole garbanzo beans, whole green lentils, whole yellow peas, dried pork cartilage (2%), lentil fiber, marine algae (1.2%) (pure and sustainable source of DHA and EPA), fresh whole pumpkin, dried brown kelp, freeze-dried pork liver (0.1%), salt, fresh whole cranberries, fresh whole blueberries, chicory root, turmeric root, milk thistle, burdock root, lavender, marshmallow root, rosehips, enterococcus faecium.
Additives: Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Zinc Chelate, Copper Chelate. Preserved with mixed tocopherols, a tocopherol rich extract of natural origin – Vitamin E and Rosemary Oil.
