Description

Ultrum Ultimate treats and prevents flea and tick infestations in dogs. Ultrum Ultimate gives over 3 weeks protection against fleas, kills flea eggs and larvae over 3 months and is also effective against ticks. Contains permethrin, es-bioallethrin, piperonyl butoxide and pyriproxifen. When fleas and ticks are a problem and the dog-owner wants to ensure that the animal is completely free of these parasites. Safe for use on puppies over 7 weeks of age.

• Es-bioallethrin: its instant knock-down action kills fleas and ticks instantly.
• Pyriproxifen: UV stable insect growth regulator (i.e. birth control for fleas) that breaks the flea life cycle.
• Piperonyl butoxide: a synergiser and “resistance breaker” ensuring no buildup against the product.
• Permethrin: keeps killing adult fleas for more than 3 weeks. It binds to hair and coat resisting removal by water.

Storage: Store upright in a cool place (below 25°C). Keep away from direct sunlight.

Warnings: DO NOT USE ON CATS. For external animal use only. Flammable – do not spray near open flames. Store away from food or feed. Keep out or reach of uninformed persons, children and pets. Toxic to fish and bees – do not contaminate rivers and streams. Although this product has been tested under a wide variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. It this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Directions for use

Use only as directed. Apply to the clean, dry animal against the lie of the hair, as close to the skin as possible. Wet the entire coat but around the face areas, apply the solution using a cloth or pad. Allow to dry naturally. The recommended dosage of Ultrum Ultimate is about 2 pump sprays per kg of body weight (the pump delivers approx. 1.2ml with each  pull of the trigger).

Permethrin 3%, Es-bioallethrin 0.4%, Pyriproxifen 0.3%, Piperonyl Butoxide 2%.
