Description
Panthox is an antibiotic spray for the treatment of wounds and skin infections in all animals. Panthox contains oxytetracycline, an antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms. It contains d-Panthenol to aid healing. No withdrawal period is required for milk or meat products. It is colourless and ideal for small animal treatment. Panthox can be used for the prevention and treatment of topical oxytetracycline-susceptible infections such as lacerations, abrasions, open wounds, dermatitis and footrot in all species of animals.
Storage: Store in a cool place (below 25°C). Keep out of direct sunglight.
Warnings: FLAMMABLE. Do not spray near open flames. Do not expose container to temperatures above 50 °C, direct sunlight or radiators. Do not puncture or incinerate can. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and pets. Do not spray near the eyes. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder. For external animal use only.
Directions for use
Use only as directed. Shake the can before use. Clean the site of infection by removing debris (dead tissue, dried blood, etc) and spray for a few seconds over the whole infected area. For footrot treatment, inspect and pare the hoof beforehand. Treat one or twice a day until healing is complete.

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 3.6 % m/m, d-Panthenol 3.2 % m/m.
