Even amid this unusual time we find ourselves in, we never cease to be amazed by the kind people in our community. A sweet, rescue kitten was given a second chance at life!
On day 7 of the national lockdown, April 2nd, a very special kitten was found wandering across the N12 at a routine roadblock.
A police officer, with the softest heart, brought her to us so that we could check her out.
Her little face had some cuts and bruises, but luckily no skull fractures were seen on radiography.
The man suspects she may have fallen out of a vehicle engine where she had most like been hiding.
Today she was adopted by her new family, ready to live her best life!
