Copronat® is a natural food supplement containing Yucca schidigera extract (YSE) which has been shown to control coprophagy and eliminate the offensive odour associated with flatulence in both cats and dogs. Yucca schidigera is a plant that grows in the deserts of Southern California and Mexico. The addition of YSE to the diet of dogs and cats significantly changes the aroma of their faeces by reducing the production metabolites associated with the manufacture of sulphides. The beneficial effects Yucca schidegera is a result of Yucca schidigera containing high concentrations of saponins and polyphenols including
resveratrol and yuccaols.

Composition
Each 100ml contains:
Yucca schidigera extracts 1,0 ml
Grape seed extract 0,05 ml
Preservative
Potassium Sorbate 0,2 % m/v
Dosage
2 ml Copronat® (4 sprays) per 10 kg body weight must be sprayed onto the animal’s food at each meal.
For Flatulence: Copronat® must be sprayed onto the food of the animals that experiences flatulence.
For Coprophagy: Copronat® must be sprayed onto the food of the animal whose faeces are being consumed.
In practice the treatment regimen for coprophagy is as follows:
– For a dog that is eating its own faeces: Copronat® must be sprayed onto the food
of the dog that is eating its own faeces.
– For a dog that is eating cat faeces: Copronat® must be sprayed on the food of the
cat whose faeces are being consumed.
– For a dog that eats the faeces of other dogs: Copronat® must be sprayed on the
food of the dog/s whose faeces are being consumed.
Copronat® can also be used to reduce the smell of cat litter, by spraying the Copronat® in the cat’s food.
